Are you looking for a quite, secluded beach with few if any kids running around?

Paradise beach is justifiably popular and attracts lots of families, so I'd say that it might not be the best match for you.

I've been to Nachi Cocom. It is quieter with fewer families, has a fancy bar, and large hot tub with a swim up bar.

If you are looking for a much quieter beach club, I would suggest going to Playa Palancar. It is the farthest beach club to the south away from town, so it gets less traffic. The day I was there it was very quiet. It also has a bar. The fish tacos were good too.

If you are looking for deserted beaches, then the west side of the island is for you, but you will probably need a car to get there. There are some bars/restaurants on the west side as well.

The Cozumelinsider.com has a list of practically all the beaches on the island with descriptions.

One other thing to suggest is that some of the all inclusive resorts have quite nice beaches and sell all inclusive day passes.

Some of the resorts are:

Occidental Grand (probably the nicest All Inclusive resort on Cozumel)

Occidental Allegro

Iberostar

El Presidente Inter-continental (not AI, but a 5 star property none the less)

Reef Club
