Does RC provide shuttles on Voyager Med. Cruise??

I will be on the Mediterranean cruise on 11/1 out of Barcelona. Does RC provide shuttles into the various ports? We were told that they may for about $20 without booking a shore excursion. Does anyone know about this? If so, which ports do they do this for? Thanks.

This is my experience - based on the same cruise last October:

 

Naples - you will berth right next to the town and won't need a shuttle

Civitavecchia - the port provides a free shuttle bus to the port gate which is right in town

Livorno - since the port don't provide a shuttle (and it's a huge industrial port with no way of walking out) you will have to take the RCI shuttle for which they charge :rolleyes: - around $10 each way I think

Villefranche - you'll be tendered right into the centre of town

Marseille - sorry, can't help as they had Palermo instead on this itinerary last year

There is no need for a shuttle at all of the ports. For most of the ports its just a short walk from getting off the ship into the various ports. However there is one port that you need a shuttle and RCI provides it.
