What exactly is the South Beach Club on the Triumph?

I've been on the Conquest and my favorite part of embarktion was going upstairs to SurMer (behind the Lido buffet) where it wasn't crowded. The reviews I've read about the South Beach Club (in the same place) say it's "the main buffet area." But the plans still show a "grand buffet" downstairs on the Lido deck. I'm thoroughly confused! :) Fellow cruisers, please enlighten me! ;)

South Beach Club is in the indoor buffet area on the lido.

It's the buffet. There's a seating area upstairs too.

so it's just extra seating? There is no "Sur Mer" kind of restaurant up there? Do they have extra buffet tables or really, it's just seating? In which case, why name it? lol

A roll call is an online gathering of CC members for a particular sailing date.
