Hotel in FLL

I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Ramada Ft Lauderdale Airport/Cruiseport lately. We stayed there 4 years ago and it looks like some remodeling has been done. It wasn't a bad stay back then, I was just wondering if it is still ok? We are only staying 1 night before our cruise.

Not a nice place and not a nice area... It's best to avoid all Ramada's, Days Inn's and Best Westerns in South Florida.

Is that the place where the rooms are rented by the hour?

Oh there are a lot of creatures of the night who do business in that area ;)
