Miami hotel question

I am hoping that all of my CC friends can help me out with a hotel in Miami. There will be four of us, all adults, arriving Sunday November 8th. We need a hotel for one night, preferrably somewhere with an airport shuttle, cost around no more than 125 a night, and near things so we will not need a rental car.

$125 is scraping the bottom of the barrel, but the only ones with an airport shuttle are airport hotels and it is generally cheaper out there. The Blue Lagoon area on the south side of MIA is the safe area to stay with nice hotels. I know the Hampton Inn has an airport shuttle, check with the others to confirm whether or not they do. There are some real restaurants, a lot of fast food restaurants, Publix grocery, Walgreens & CVS drug all within walking distance of these...

Sofitel ($125 if paid at booking, no refund)... http://www.sofitel.com/gb/hotel-0889-sofitel-miami/index.shtml

Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon ($129 on that date)... http://www.hamptoninnmiamiairport.com/

Homewood Suites Blue Lagoon ($129, or $116.10 if fully paid upon booking)... http://homewoodsuites1.hilton.com/en_US/hw/hotel/MIABLHW-Homewood-Suites-by-Hilton-Miami-Airport-Blue-Lagoon-Florida/index.do

Summerfield Suites (special $97.30 if booked today, otherwise $139)... http://www.miamiairport.summerfieldsuites.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/summerfield/index.jsp

Thanks for all your help. We chose the Summerfield Suites. I hope it will be fine for one night. They do have a shuttle from the airport and you can also use it go to places near hotel. How much should we pay for transportation to POM ? Thanks again.

Yeah, any of those are fine for a night. From the airport there's a flat rate of $24 for a cab to Port of Miami. I'm not sure if they'll honor that if they pick you up at an airport area hotel or not, but if not it should be around $30 or so.
