We all have Passports, do we need our BC's?

The first time we cruised (2005) we used our birth certificates. Since then, DH and I, as well as our 2 sons (11 & 9) have gotten passports. Is there any reason we need to also take our birth certificates with us?

Passport lets you travel the world. All ya need!

Probably not on the past ports, BUT I always bring them "Just in case". You never know.

Leave the BC at home in the safe all you need is the passport.

We have not taken our birth certificates...since we got the passports in 2005.

Do you still need to have additional picture id. with passports?

Your passport is like your Personal Id, Drivers licence ID, Over the age of 21 ID, Libery card ID, you name it card.. traveling outside the us your passport is the only form of identification you will need.
