Help with NO Hotel

Looking for a pre-cruise hotel in NO in Mid March. We will be staying in NO for a few days prior to our cruise and would like to be both close to French quarter and restaurants and close to the cruise port. Is this possible? We Also need a hotel that may have parding specials since we may be driving to NO. TIA!

I'm going March 13 and had a very hard time finding a hotel! We've been to NOLA before so knew how far away from the French Quarter we would be comfortable walking to and from. The best place I found was the Drury Inn on Poydras for $90. I don't know if they have cruise parking available, I still have to call on that. I think I've just resigned myself to facing the traffic Sunday morning and parking in the Fulton lot. Or, I read about Machu Picchu that offers a parking special too.

Try to book soon. March is pricey in NOLA!

We stayed at the Monteleone in the quarter- nice hotel not too expensive. As far as what hotels will offer parking, I'd post that question on the Carnival board.
