Questions about Cruising and Shore Excursions with Infants

Hi,

 

My husband and I booked a cruise for March 2006 for our son's 12th birthday. We recently found out we are pregnant. Our new baby will be approximately 7months at the time of the cruise and we will be bringing him/her along. I noticed that RCCL doesn't prvide sitting for under one year - not a major problem but I was wondering what else we should be aware of when travelling with a baby.

 

When booking shore excursions do we have to book a full child's fair? Can we bring the baby along on events that say minimum participant age 5yrs etc.

 

Any ideas or advice?
