Is the Verandah Deck noisy? Carnival Elation?

We are booked in an inside cabin on the Verandah Deck of the Carnival Elation for 4/17/05. Since this deck is right over the busy Lido deck food area, is it noisy early in the morning? We don't tend to sleep too late but I'd prefer somewhat quiet til 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning. Thanks for any input!! :)

We were on the Elation in November of last year (room V 17) and noticed no noise at all from below decks, the passageways or from neighbors.

We were on the Verandah Deck, Room V-36 (inside cabin) last Thanksgiving a year ago and we loved it. It was very quiet - never heard anything. This year we were on the Empress Deck and it was a little noisier but still a nice room. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I had a Veranda deck balcony corner room and had no problem with noise at all and I really liked being up there and close to the Lido, have another one booked this April. Enjoy Linda
