Just got on these threads today and was wondering if anyone knows about the Scuba diving in Cabo San Lucas and Ixtapa

Scuba in Cabo is GREAT..Excellent(to me anyway) lots of choice(more than just what the cruise lines offers) also scuba stores close to the tender also.

We were on the Christmas cruise and went diving in Zihu. We used Nautilas Divers booked via email pre cruise. They are located just a 1/2 block from the dock and were great to work with. We did a double dive and still had time to see the town. The dive masters were great. The equipment was great. And the dives were great.

RLJPHX: How are the costs, ship vs. local, and was there any concern about returning to the ship on time? This is my first ocean dive and in all the anxiety, I don't want to worry about a missed ship.

Since my only dives have been lake dives, will there be a big adjustment to the ocean currents etc? Thanks for the info: Dan
