Planning the day in St Martin, beaches etc.

Which beach would be better to go to with my DH and two sons (23 and 20) Orient Beach (if so which bars have the best chair/drink deals) or Little Bay. Also is it possible to do the beach and still do a catamaran/snorkel trip. We did the Golden Eagle years ago and it was great. I am open to other catamaran/snorkel suggestions too. Do you recommend doing the catamaran through the cruiseline (RCCL - Freedom of the Seas) or on own? I know this is a lot of questions in one thread. Thanks in advance.

Divi Little Bay would be on the bottom of my list of places to take 20 and 22 year old men. The beach is only ok and it is really just a beach to spend an hour or two at. Orient has much more to offer. The beach, bars and restaurants along with the watersports will keep them occupied for the day.
