Captain Marvin's Short Excursion

We are taking the short excursion with Captain Marvins from 8:30am-10:45am. The ship will be in port until 4pm, last tender at 3pm. Will we have time to return to the ship for lunch and have time to go back and walk around the port area? How long is the tender process each way? Are there long lines to return to the ship?

The tender process, from boarding the tender until you disembark the tender can take about 30 minutes. However, how long it takes until you get on the tender is an unknown question. What ship are you on. The bigger the ship the longer the lines.

When I was on the Freedom of the Seas we floated about 100 meters from the boat for about 15 - 20 minutes because there were two other tenders debarking passengers back onto the ship. In addition we got back to the tender pier just in time, and there must have been about 1500 people in that line. Not all at once mind you. However, after having moved about half way toward the tender I looked behind me and the line had not gotten any smaller. This is why the Oasis and Allure will not go to any tender ports.

Here are some pictures of the line to tender back to the Freedom of the Seas ...
