Barefooter Posted May 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2004 We're on the Majesty's 4-night Bahamas cruise in 3 days (5/24). It's our first trip to the Bahamas. On our vacation to French Polynesia about a month ago, we found that the waters have so much coral and other foot hazards - even very close to shore - that we had to buy and use reef shoes when going in the ocean. Is that an issue in the Bahamas - specifically at Nassau beaches and CocoCay?
trabucocruiser Posted May 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2004 Not much of a problem at CocoCay, it's mostly sand. Can't say about Nassau but simple water shoes sould do the trick for you.
