Gem Penthouse AB Question

We're a party of 7 (4 adults, three kids ages 7, 4 & 2). Can we all be in a AB on the Gem? The brochure states 'accommodates 6". However they also mention that "most of our staterooms can accommodate guests with rollaway beds".

Simple answer no. :( In fact NCL will not book 7 into the cabin even if you wanted to. With the sleeper sofa added to ABs (they used to only be able to be booked for 5) there is no place for a rollaway if they would permit it.

Your best bet is booking an AB and adjoining AF. We did that when my in-laws sailed on the Dawn with us and it made for a great, wide open space with the door and the balcony partition open.

Just remember, the AF is NOT a suite and not entitled to some of the perks. This makes for some awkward planning.

 

No mention of who the kids belong to and how you might want to do things.

 

If you have lots of money, go for the Garden Villa.
