Ft Lauderdale hotel choice?

Does anyone have feedback on Doubletree Galleria One hotel? It looks as if they are the second stop on the Water Taxi route. As the water taxi can get busy, it's nice to have a stop near the beginning.

People really like the hotel. I've planned events there and had a good experience, and the location is terrific, next to a nice indoor mall with quality restaurants.
