happydaysmanchester Posted January 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2010 Hi, With the freakish weather that we all seem to be having at the moment I'm a bit reluctant to book trips now...I dont fancy booking a beach or snorkling trip if the day Im in port it will be freezing cold or raining! Do you get weather updates on board prior to arrival at the next port? At least then it would give me a better idea of what to do that day! Do you get weather updates on board prior to arrival at the next port? At least then it would give me a better idea of what to do that day! The cruise compass (daily newsletter) will have a forecast for the next day. There´s also some weather information on the TV in your room and at noon the Captain makes an announcment over the PA system every day including a weather forecast as well. However for booking an excursion all these informations might be a bit late.
jbond Posted January 10, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 10, 2010 If you're going on Freedom in July (2-7-2010), I doubt that it will be freezing. Even if you used the American date style and you're going in February, it'll still be quite warm. If it's raining, the chances are that it will only be a shower, nothing like the cold, miserable drizzle you get in Manchester.:D
