the "Hill" at Mahogany Bay

We did the Victor Bodden Tour on two different visits to Roatan. We grabbed the 2.00 per person taxi up over the hill. I think we could have walked it just fine, but since no sidewalk we felt better just paying the taxi. It is like a 30 second taxi ride so we had to laugh that we took the taxi, but felt it was the safest since no sidewalks.

The $2 taxi was a bargain.

I'm Ok going downhill, uphill is entirely different:D

The good news is that if you take the $2 ride pp over the hill (Which I have done twice because Mom had to be in wheelchair as it was way to far for her to walk) if you have a tour with Victor Bodden they are allowed to bring you all the way back to the actual port entrance upon return.
