MamaParrotHead Posted February 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2010 I'm at a LOSS. I figured I wasn't the first person to have this little dilemma and wondered what others did. Thanks!
yogi2929 Posted February 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2010 My Platinum frame holds them. ;)
Cruising Clare Posted February 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2010 If mine are to be displayed, I put into an 8x10 frame, taped to a neutral or matching background (matting) sheet. However, most of our photos (all sizes) go into a photo album with the rest of my shots and memorobilia from the trip.;)
scperk Posted February 2, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2010 I'm sure you could get the matted at any Michaels store....Dennis
MamaParrotHead Posted February 2, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Well, the problem is, I have them in an album NOW, and DH has this bright idea of wanting to display them all of a sudden. So I'm looking at 3 cruises worth of every port pic, LOL. I honestly just wanted the cheapy acrylic, no border, stand up ones so I can keep that $$ in the cruise fund and not break the bank on frames, LOL. eastoftheboston Posted February 2, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2010 I found there are only 3 solutions to this: 1: buy a mat at Michaels or other craft store and put it in an 8x10 frame 2: buy one of those clear frames where photos "float" inbetween two panes of glass and then it doesn't matter what size your photos are 3: go on the carnival web site and buy some 6x9 frames, grumbling about it because now you have to pay tax, shipping and handling on frames you could have just picked up on the boat, and vow next time you'll buy frames on the boat when you see them at a good price.... Can you guess which option I chose? LOL. Lesson learned.
osiebosie Posted February 2, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2010 I don't know if you are signed up with Joann's, or if you even have one near you. But if you are, there are always 50% off coupons on framing. You could collage all of them in one; might be a bit pricey, but may be better than separate frames. Just a thought. Or, google that frame size. I'm sure some store has some that size. Shay
MamaParrotHead Posted February 2, 2010 Author #8 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Thanks everyone! Think I may try the clear 8x10 frame and float it in there. That didn't even occur to me.

brooklynfc Posted February 2, 2010 #10 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Walmart has 8x10 basic black frames for about $3-$5 or you can go to the dollar store and get the basic 8x10's. And the mats at walmart are about $2.80 a piece. We just had to do family photos, lol.
