Transportation - Downtown Miami to FLL

Since the flight was WAY cheaper we will be flying back home out of FLL airport. It is my family of 4, and our flight departs FLL at 8:00am on a Monday morning. I found a limo service that offers a sedan car to take us from point A to point B for around the same price as a taxi, so I am thinking about booking. I called the company to ask them a few questions and the guy said so you would need picked up at 7:00am? :eek: Now, I have never been to Miami and don't know how close FLL is, but I was thinking more along the lines of a 5:30 am pick up. Any thoughts from those of you who know how much time we would need? :confused:

Even with zero traffic it is a 30-40 minute drive. Add time for airport security and check-in means your estimate of 0530 is spot on. Good luck!:)
