Remember this, the scanner is only good if the person who is operating it is on the ball. Sad to say, nuclear plants and their security forces are not the greatest at catching alcohol. I know for a fact that people have taken cans of beer through all these scanners into their work place. If the guy sitting there and SUPPOSED to be looking at what is coming through and not hee hawing it up with his buddies, could catch you. The scanners cannot tell the difference between a can of beer and a can of coke.

the dreaded P38. the only tool the army has that works everytime. i've had one on my key ring for 30 years and have carried it on every cruise i've ever been on. no problems.
