taylortroop Posted January 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Just booked our cruise for June 11 on Royal Caribbean, Radience of the Seas!! We will need to spend a day in Vancouver prior to departure and am looking for a nice, but reasonably priced hotel, in a convenient location since we'll be cabbing it. I've discovered that hotels are pretty expensive in Vancouver. Also looking for suggestions of things to do in Vancouver. We will have a full day to explore. Rare taxatty Posted January 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Priceline seems to give good results for Vancouver hotels. Check out biddingfortravel.com for examples. Vancouver has a great deal to do--our favorites were Stanley Park and Granville Island--you could spend several hours at both. The UBC Museum of Anthropology is a long cab (or, much cheaper, bus and short walk) ride out of town, but is definitely worth a visit. Les
MCManders99 Posted January 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Priceline would be your best bet. I was nervous at first, but I tried it for my Cruise May 23. I ended up at a 4 star the Hyatt to be exact, for 75 US Dollars. I was pretty happy. You should try it.
natesfirewife Posted January 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2005 I've been trying to get a hotel on Priceline for a couple weeks now for our August Cruise and have had no luck. I am currently bidding at $75 and will keep trying. Misty
