If you follow the link at the bottom of my post, you can check out the GS's I had on Radiance and Serenade.. which should look almost exactly like yours on the Brilliance, since they are sister ships. If 1600 is that aft corner one, then the layout might be a bit different, but you'll get the idea. As for amenities, you get much nicer decor than a standard cabin. The concierge will basically do most things you would normally need to go to other places to do, such as the front desk, specialty restaurant reservations, spa appointments, shore excursions.. etc.

You get priority boarding, priority tender tickets, priority anything pretty much. You get "treats" delivered every afternoon (sweets or canapes)... and every evening there is a happy hour before dinner in the concierge lounge. There are also CD's and DVD's there to use in your cabin.

You will love it.

We're in suite 1600 for the Brilliance valentines day cruise next year. So if we're back before you leave I'll leave you a full review. It looks really nice from what we've seen and have gotten alot of positive feedback. We can't wait!!!!

malony33,

We have also booked our 1st GS for our upcoming 9/26/04 Hawaii cruise. We have booked 1600 on the Serenade (a sister ship). Mattinla is correct in that the layout of this suite is completely different than any of the other GS cabins. There are some great pictures of this cabin from the Radiance (I believe), but I have lost the link to them at this point.

From our research, you will definately enjoy the suite and the balcony icon_biggrin.gif .
