stevecw Posted February 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2010 We're going on the POA in May (can't wait!!!). We really like Italian food, and we want to try Little Italy. Anyone want to share your experiences eating there? How is the food and service? How hard is it to get reservations - it does't look like it seats a lot of people. How much is the cover charge? Any info appreciated. Also looking for feedback on any of the other places to dine on the ship.

We prefered the Lazy J steakhouse which has always fantastic! Have a great trip!

Really appreciate you posting the 'Freestyle Dailies'.... on this topic I have friends who go to Italy every year and they often comment on meals that last HOURS. Maybe NCL is trying to be AUTHENTIC. Tough to imagine a meal that drags across 2 1/2 hours, unless there were many, MANY courses. I hope your 'company' was entertaining enough to make it a fun passage of time.:) Bon Voyage Aloha Geaux Saints
LJH1 Posted February 25, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2010 We like it as well however you will find many Italian Restaurants at home much better but for ship food it is very good. We always do b2b cruises and always eat at the specialty rest. and we will eat Italian at least 3 to 4 nights. They make a good minestrone soup, a very good and large portion chicken parma and I really like the lobster ravioli. They also have a good selection on their antipasta trolley. As for the length of time for service that someone had commented on , we never had that problem but we are also not in a rush to go anywhere.
