Normally Puerta Maya, since Carnival owns it, and you'll need to take a taxi or be ready for a long walk.

I don't know what determines where you dock,

but I have been to Puerta Maya twice and

have seen other Carnival and other ships at the

other dock. Puerta Maya is the one to the south

where you take a taxi.

Fat Tuesday's is right there at the pier...you can stop on the way into town and before heading back to the ship ;)

I've always docked right at the Puerta Maya pier when in Cozumel. You can go to the Puerta Maya website and I believe there is a schedule that will tell you which ships are going to be there on any day.
