We flew in the day before and stayed over night at the Days Inn by the airport. It is a crappy hotel and we had some issues with the "Manager" at the front desk when we checked in. Anyways..enough of that. The hotel offer a shuttle to the POM. We got there around 11:30 or so. It only took 15 mins to check in and we were already inside the ship. NOS is a BEAUTIFUL ship. The moment I walked in and saw the centrum...OMG... I was so in love.. i just started snapping pictures and didnt care about anything else.

Our rooms werent ready yet so we went up to the pool area and check it out. Took some more pics on the top deck overlooking Miami. We went to the Windjammer and had lunch. The food at all time were delicious!!!.. I couldnt complain much about anything. I loved everything about it. Anways, after that we went to check out our rooms. one was on deck 8 and the balcony was on deck 7. Both rooms were good and roomy for our number of people. The couple stayed in the interior room while us 3 girls stayed in the balcony. I wouldnt cruise again without a balcony unless its super EXPENSIVE!!!!... i love it. you get to enjoy the sea whenever u want.

After we put our luggage away and stuff..we went up to tour the shop some more. Took some more pics of the top decks and it was sail away time. We were able to see Miami Beach and all. We had Mytime dining and altho reseveration werent needed..it was better to get it so you wouldnt have to wait in line. Our first night, we had to wait til 8:30 for dinner in the MDR..so we made reservations everynight after that. We went to the Comedy show before heading to dinner. The comedian was GREAT...had a good laugh.

Headed to Dinner. Our waiter was the best. Forgot his name but he was the employee of the month!!! The food was GREAT!!!!! After dinner, we checked out the Casino. Didnt have much luck so didnt stick around too long. After a long day, we decided to call it a day. Oh by the way, our room attentant was super GREAT!!!..she got everything we needed right away and she was really good at all things. Her name was Cindi. GREAT PERSON. We left her some extra $$$ for tips. I believe they all worked so hard and deserved so much more.

This wraps up Day 1. I will continue Day 2 tomorrow. I still have a withdraw from the cruise. The ground is stil moving for me..and im getting used to walking on land now..LOL!!!:)

Hi! I sailed the Maiden Voyage of her with our friends from Cruise Critic! Today, I just sent my Mom off on her for her 81st Birthday. She should be heading up to muster about now, oh to be a fly on the wall! I had them decorate her door and room, she should love it. Glad you had a great time. I highly recommend the Freedom Class and the Oasis as well. Just sailed her last month.

OMG...we stayed at that Days Inn once. Horrible place in a horrible neighborhood, but they had an awesome Cuban restaurant down the street. We swear there were blood stains in the hall- I was so scared there I could not sleep!

sorry for the delay. it has been a busy week trying to settle back into work and REALITY!!! more to come shortly and i promise pictures!!!

Day 2- Friday 2/19/2010

Woke up at 7am to catch the sunrise. Didnt get a good look at it because it was a cloudy morning. After everyone woke up and got ready, we headed to the MDR for breakfast. It was located in The Nutcracker (1st floor). After breakfast, we headed to the tour some more of the ship. We went to the Ice Rank to check it out but we never got a chance to actually go Ice Skating. After that, we went to the Shopping talk show. We each bought the Port&Shopping book for $25.

After the talk show, we tour some more of the ship and headed to Windjammer for some lunch. I tell you, we stuffed ourselves way TOO MUCH!!!! I kinda like the MDR style where you order a dish or 2 and your done. At the buffet style, you can get up and get the food whenever you want..eheh... We ate ALOT!!! -- just a thought, we never had to wait in lunch at the buffet line. I've heard of stories where people waited 1 hr just to get to the food.. we never had that..i dont know if if was a full sailing or not but at all times, it never felt crowded. It was just PERFECT!!!!

After Lunch, we went to our rooms to relax. We plan on a 30 min nap then head to the pool to swim. Our 30 min nap turned to 3 hr. We woke up @ 5pm and realized it was already late. We went to tour the ship some more.

We got ready for dinner. Trust me, it took us forever because we wanted to get glammed up and look all night. Took a little too long and didnt even have time to curl my hair. We headed down to the dinning room and was seated right away since we already made reservations. We got the same waiter that night too. The food was GREAT!!..nothint else to say!!!

After dinner, we came back and changed into our swimsuits to get in the hot tub. After 10 mins in the hot tub, we went for the Pool. The water was COLD but we were brave and jump right in. After awhile in the pool, it wasnt cold anymore.

After that we went to the late night adult comedy show. it was great like ALWAYS..got a good laugh and headed back to the room to call it a night since we will be getting ready for Cozumel the next day.
