Complimentary wine selection

The post on the bottle of Bruenello got my attention. In your wildest of dreams do not expect to see Bruenello as a free pour on ANY Cruise Line.:)

I was the one who made a statement about Brunello...

it was a joke since we were discussing boutique wines that Larry said he enjoyed collecting...

I would expect his collection to have a bottle or 2, but I would NOT expect it to be part of AZ's free pour...

sometimes people turn their nose up on what they deem as a cheap wine

and quite frankly many of those same wines are real gems.

In case many of you aren't familiar with the Judgement of Paris the link is below...

As a California native, I live close to several wine country regions the story is well known here.

and I keep this in mind as I sample wines from around the world...

even regions that would be deemed inferior to grape growing.....

because you just never know!!!

I wrote to Azamara Club Cruises a few days ago and asked for a clarification about bringing alcohol on board the ship. I know we all want to follow the correct procedure. I so appreciate the informative response I received and thought I would pass it on for all to read.

"Dear Susan,

Thank you for your email.

Azamara Club Cruises offers a great selection of international liquors,

beer and fine wines onboard. Guests wishing to bring their own favorite

liquor, beer or wine may do so for private consumption in their suite or

stateroom. There is no longer the restriction of only bring 2 bottles of

wine per cabin. However, liquor, beer or wine can only be brought onboard for consumption on the day of embarkation. Any bottles brought onboard

while in a port of call will be held, and delivered back to the guests on

the last day of the cruise.

Thank you for contacting Azamara Club Cruises.

Sincerely,

Sonja Murphy
