TheDINGOateMyBaybay! Posted March 13, 2010 #76 Share Posted March 13, 2010 I haven't read all the replies, but we just put all the fridge stuff under the nightsand in the cabin, last cruise he was in the cabin while we did this. No problem, he approved. We had no charges from the cabin fridge at the end of our cruise.
TheDINGOateMyBaybay! Posted March 13, 2010 #77 Share Posted March 13, 2010 What? Someone in the industry that KNOWS what is like to live off tips? I guess since you do not understand this I know that you HAVE NOT worked in the industry, and do not understand. Must be nice to know exactly what you have coming in every 5th and 20th paycheck. Just a nasty attitude. And presumptuous. I certainly know what kind of worker, or employee you are/were. Happy cruising to all! Bob

LaJollaCruiser Posted March 13, 2010 #79 Share Posted March 13, 2010 A couple of you have made posts that completely backup my thoughts about tipping and the service industry. You don't think tipping is about good service. No, you suggest we tip, and tip BIG or ELSE! What's the or else? According to a couple of you, that would be bad service, nasty things done to our toothbrush, stuff missing (stolen), or even worse things. I certainly know what kind of worker, or employee you are/were. Happy cruising to all! Bob I've seen unspeakable things done to a notorious cheapskate's food in a five-star restaurant's kitchen by disgruntled waiters. If you're going to be cheap, don't go back to the same restaurant because they =will= remember you.
