Diving age rules....

I am needing some clarification regarding the age requirement for ship excursions for diving. My daughter is a diver, but I am not. She is also not quite 18 yet but will be in a couple of months. If we book a dive trip, do I have to go on the boat with her even though I don't dive? and if so, can I snorkel instead of dive? This is the first time her age has been a problem. Any suggestions?

Which cruise line? What Islands will you be visiting? It might matter.

I don't think you have to go with on Princess, she should be able to go on her own.

If you did want to go as a snorkeler, you might want to look to a private operator.
