Villefranche to Cannes?

Port call at Villefranche 0730 to 1530. Would that be enough time to visit Cannes? Would the bus or the train be better? Anyone know bus #'s and/or train schedules? Ed

Train is the easiest as it is walkable from the tender pier. Look to the right along the waterfornt and you will see it. The bus requires you to go up to the main road, look up.

We assume you have a reason to visit Cannes (many cruisers prefer to leave that city) and yes, you can get it done by using the train. Do not worry about the schedule to Cannes since the trains run approximately every 30 - 45 min. Just get ashore as quickly as possible (it is a tender port) and walk away from the tender pier keeping the water on your right. You will quickly come to the steps (on your left) that lead up to the train station where you simply catch the next train to Cannes (about 50 min each way). This train line is similar to commuter trains with no reservations.
