Oceanview/outside on Summit

Hi all. I have put a hold on an Oceanview on Summit on the Penthouse deck because there was a good resident rate for sailings to Bermuda. Can anyone tell me please if in these rooms you can open the porthole/window to get fresh air or if it is permanently shut? Not a dealbreaker for me but some fresh air is always nice. Thanks.

Thanks for responding. I figured as much. Makes sense. I have only ever cruised once before and it was Concierge Class with a verandah. Booked a verandah again fir a 14-night Caribbean on the Connie.

Hope this room doesn't make me mental...but I am sure it will not. It was a real bargain and this getaway to Bermuda is just a whim to take advantage of a good resident rate. And besides: it is a cruise! LOL.

Thanks again.

I was going to say the same thing. I'll be on the Summit and the end of this month in an OV the first week and a balcony the second. However, I've never been in an OV cabin that had a window that opened. I would surprised if the Summit was any different.
