SYDNEY - Princess Cruises has introduced personalised electronic pre-cruise documents in Australia and New Zealand.

The cruise line will issue digital documents for all passengers booked on cruises departing from May 14, 2010.

The new e-documentation will include a series of emails that will be sent direct to passengers when they pay their deposit, as well as two weeks before final payment and 45 and 15 days prior to sailing.

In addition, passengers will also be able to access personalised luggage tags and a shore excursion e-book via the cruise personaliser feature on princess.com and take advantage of an enhanced cruise answer feature on the cruise line website.

Don Clark, director of sales for Complete Cruise Solution, which represents Princess Cruises in Australia and New Zealand, urged travel agents to ensure that clients update their email address via the cruise personaliser on Princess.com
