Wheelchair accessable cabins Grand Princess

Hi, has anybody got any photo's of the smaller wheelchair accessable cabins(toilet/ shower rooms)on the Gand Princess or Grand class ships.

I am trying to check the availability of drop down grab rails etc;for my

forth coming cruise.

We were on the Grand in January and I did take some pix but unfortunately have cleared my card. DW has MS and we had a balcony/acessible cabin. There were lots of grab bars in the bathroom around the toilet and in the shower. The shower had a drop down stool in it and there was a ramp up into the bathroom and well on both sides of the balcony door. Hopes this helps.

There were rails on the right side of the toilet and in the shower but they were fixed and not of the drop down nature.

Check the Princess website and look for the "Handicapped cabins" Gee I hate that term.

 

I have viewed them as I have booked a balcony one for my daughter and I on the Grand and it has all the grab rails around the toilet, shower and basin. a larger area to move around the cabin and far bigger balcony.

 

I am sure I also found pictures on the webshots site, give it a try.

Princess uses the term, "Wheelchair-accessible" and not HC.
