Can anyone tell me how to get from the Mestre train station in Venice to the Hilton Molino Stucky hotel? We arrive around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 4th.

Also, looking for info about how to get from the same hotel to the Marco Polo airport on Sunday, June 6th for a 9:00 am flight.

Thanks in advance!

From Mestre you need to take a train to Venice Santa Lucia. Many, although not all, trains that go to Mestre continue on to Santa Lucia.

From Venice Santa Lucia station (on the hotel's web site here: http://www.molinostuckyhilton.com/transferinformation.php#contentRight):

TRANSFERS BY PRIVATE WATER-TAXI (WITHOUT HOSTESS)

Taxis are widely available at the water-taxi pier. Should no taxis be available, please call the hotel concierge for assistance. Cost: Euro 60 (up to 4 persons and 1 piece of luggage per person). Supplements apply for evening or early morning transfers.

TRANSFERS BY PUBLIC BOAT

Transfers by public boat (vaporetto nr. 41 or 2 direction Giudecca) to Giudecca (Stop: Palanca) or public boat (Vaporetto nr. 51 or 2) to Zattere, from where guests can take our hotel shuttle to the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice. Cost Euro 6,50 per person transfer time approximately 30/45 minutes. Please note: in the latter option, guests are expected to make their own way from the water-bus stop at Zattere to our dedicated landing jetty (Zattere/Ponte Longo Bridge, by the Intesa Bank). Please see our updated shuttle timetable.

For public boat timetable, please see www.actv.it.

To get to the airport, you can use the Alilaguna or a private water taxi. From the hotel web site:

TRANSFERS BY PUBLIC BOAT/ALILAGUNA

Transfers by public boat (Alilaguna) from/to airport directly to Hilton Molino Stucky Venice. Cost: Euro 15 per person, transfer time 1h30 min / 2 hrs approximately.

TRANSFERS BY PRIVATE WATER-TAXI (WITHOUT HOSTESS)

Taxis are generally available in great number at the water-taxi pier. Should no taxis be available, please call the hotel concierge for assistance. Cost: Euro 100/110 approximately (up to 4 persons and 1 piece of luggage per person). Supplements apply for evening or early morning transfers. Please advise us of your arrival details (including train compartment and seat number) at least 24 hours in advance.
