kissimmee-cruiser Posted March 31, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2010 Are there any special perks to having a Crown Loft Suite?
CruiseQueenie Posted March 31, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2010 The benefit of a great room! We loved our crown loft suite when we went in February and look forward to our sky loft suite next February on Allure. I do love the setup for our rooms - bigger hallways, away from the crowds - just all around nice. Being able to see the ocean while up in the bedroom area is great!!!! Enjoy! chellebells Posted March 31, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2010 You will absolutely love it! The concierge lounge offers a great breakfast and lunch not to mention the cocktail hour in the evenings. As for the room itself, having two bathrooms is a luxury that I myself grew accustomed to.

TITISSA Posted April 1, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2010 Is the room key a different color from the rest of the ship? Is that how the crew knows who is in a suite?
catlady27 Posted April 1, 2010 #7 Share Posted April 1, 2010 Is the room key a different color from the rest of the ship? Is that how the crew knows who is in a suite? Yes :) (from what I have read it is)

chellebells Posted April 1, 2010 #9 Share Posted April 1, 2010 Forgot to mention have the concierge put the yellow sticker on it as well which is for the shows. Have a great trip!
cruisingator2 Posted April 1, 2010 #10 Share Posted April 1, 2010 Yes the card is gold for GS and up. I for one am glad that they removed those large letters that stated "SUITE" on the SeaPass card. No need for that.
05mak05 Posted April 1, 2010 #11 Share Posted April 1, 2010 I was just going to post a question about Crown Lofts when I saw this thread. Is there more motion? Two bathrooms would be wonderful!
TITISSA Posted April 5, 2010 #12 Share Posted April 5, 2010 I was wondering about the motion all the way up on deck 17 too. Does anyone know? And, is an umbrella included in the room in case it rains and Central Park and the Boardwalk are all wet?
chellebells Posted April 5, 2010 #13 Share Posted April 5, 2010 The Oasis is such a large state of the art ship we did not feel anymore motion than normal....this was a concern of ours as well prior to our cruise. Just do not forget your power strips! :)
cruisingator2 Posted May 8, 2010 #14 Share Posted May 8, 2010 Two questions for those that have been in a Crown Loft. Does the cabin have a DVD player? We didn't have one in our Aqua Theater suite. Where did you have to go for the muster drill? Location? Thanks,:)

We were supposed to go to the Aqua Theather for muster, however, it was raining so they moved us into the Seafood Shack and then moved us again into the Ice Cream Shoppe. Nah, not quite that amount. Depends on how many you have in the cabin. :) 1. No DVD player2. Suprised that RCI skipped out on the Oasis with placing DVD players in the suites. The Boardwalk is where we had to go for out last muster. Again, thanks for the info. transam84 Posted May 10, 2010 #19 Share Posted May 10, 2010 Nah, not quite that amount. Depends on how many you have in the cabin. :) Aqua Theater Allure 5-Jun-11 for 4 adults 15K. If you take insurance for the 4 it does start creeping toward 20K but not quite.

cruisingator2 Posted May 30, 2010 #22 Share Posted May 30, 2010 We are back from our second cruise on the Oasis and this time we had a Crown Loft and loved it. It felt more like a suite compared to the Aqua Theater suite. The attention to detail was there this time from the cabin steward. For sure you are high above the water but we were still able to hear the waves from sea and had a very nice breeze most of the time.
