lambs2 Posted April 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2010 Anybody know this for sure? We have a transatlantic on the NCL Sun in 2011 ending in Copenhagen with a Baltic cruise on the Vision leaving on the same day. Trying to determine logistics. moyaroo Posted April 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2010 According to the RCI website you will be a langeline for departure this is the pier closest to the little Mermaid and the city center. Probably the "worst" case scenario assuming the Sun docks at the New Portget a cab from Sun to Vision drop off bags and walk into the Amellienborg complex. Have a fun morning, come back and board the Vision. The NCL website is less than useful, but you will have no trouble and no great expense navigating bwtween the two ships. It isn't like Miami to Ft Lauderdale though it could be like Princess FLL to Holland FLL (It is unlikely that both ships would be at the Langeline pier) If both are at new port (I forget the Danish for it) then you might be able to walk bwetween the ships and take a bus into town. Rare HeinBloed Posted April 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Anybody know this for sure? We have a transatlantic on the NCL Sun in 2011 ending in Copenhagen with a Baltic cruise on the Vision leaving on the same day. Trying to determine logistics. You will be in two different port sections and the best would be to call a taxi: NORWEGIAN SUN will berth in Freeport. VISION OF THE SEAS will berth in Langeline. This picture was taken from our open deck of EURODAM while we were in Freeport and you see the other cruise ship at Langeline. So the best would be call a cab. We went there to do some researches. The ride took maybe 6-8 minutes. Regards HeinBloed
moyaroo Posted April 3, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2010 Thanks to HeinBloed for the right English! Freeport! The "New Port" is actually Nyhavn and is today quite old. It is sort of like all of those Pont Neuf's in France the average age of which is probably 600 years!

Rare HeinBloed Posted August 1, 2012 #12 Share Posted August 1, 2012 Aloha friends: We'll be coming into Copenhagen and need to travel to the airport. ( CPH ) What's the best way to get there? Mahalo!! Same what you might would do in Honolulu to get from the ship to the airport... take a taxi and you are there in about 20-30 minutes. Or take the ship's sponsored buses. All public transport need a walk of 10 minutes (bus - only Monday to Friday) or 20 minutes (commuter train - with transfer).
