Beach towels

There are beach towels that are in your room on embarkation day. You can take them out in port or out of your room; if you bring the used ones to your cabin steward, he or she will replace them. Lose them and you will have bought an expensive run of the mill beach towel.

Does Carnival provide beach towels when going ashore ?? Also is this free or is there a charge for this ?

I take cheap WalMart type towels when I go ashore - the ones provided to you are free but big and heavy and could only fit one in our beach bag. We would just leave our towels behind at the beach (they were wet and sandy) we would leave by a garbage pail and before we were 10 feet away they would be gone. Sometimes if we had more than one beach excursion we would shake them out and either hang to dry in the room or throw into the dryer. If you lose the towel it costs you $22.00 - when you go to the pools just grab one there - don`t take the one from your room.

if you loose the pool towel, do you still get charged?

you just leave the towel at the pool - they have big hampers to throw them in - you can't take these off the ship - so no chance of losing them really
