Where is the bed?

Are the little rectangles in the deck plans beds? Do they indicate which faces fore and which aft? Does it make a difference? We are assigned cabin 730 for our cruise and it looks to me like we will be facing the rear of the ship. The last time I was lucky enough to fly business we had seats facing the rear of the plane which was no problem, but I don't like sitting backwards on trains and subways.

Thanks:)

I don't like sitting backwards either, but I've had beds faced in both directions and it makes little difference.

The rectangle is actually the bathroom. The bed will be on the same side as the bathroom, therefore your bed, I believe, is oriented with your head towards the bow, i.e., forward.

Thanks, Wendy! I really appreciate your comments. If you ever want any ideas about Italy, particularly Venice, my husband is Italian and we go there at least every other year...:)
