Good restaurant near Intercontinental???

We're staying at the Intercontinental next week. I know I've read posts earlier about a good restaurant close by (within walking distance). I'm having trouble remembering where I saw this so---any recommendations??? Any other tips about staying at the hotel would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks!!

There's a good and very inexpensive place in the small strip mall almost directly across the street. I believe the name of the place is Mi Casita. We had breakfast there several times.

 

For a bit of a "nicer" meal - but still local flavor - many business people lunch at Metropol. From the Intercontinental, take a left and walk down Isla Verde Ave towards the airport. It's about 4-5 blocks, on the right.

Metropol is wonderful. Large portions, everything was delicious.

Thanks!! It was Metropol I was looking for dinner and maybe we'll try Mi Casita for breakfast.:D

The El San Juan has The Palm's next door....very good and a Chili's across the street for something easier....Mi Casita is great for breakfast...try the French Toast with the Puerto Rican bread....
