pokergirl34 Posted April 9, 2010 #27 Share Posted April 9, 2010 there are sliders in some of the balcony cabins that were formerly "family" oceanview cabins (with the floor-to-ceiling windows) on the Spa Deck of Destiny and some Conquest class ships. Could be Triumph class too...I'm not sure.

golfadj Posted April 9, 2010 #29 Share Posted April 9, 2010 Depending upon what deck you are on, have you considered doing some fishing from balcony?
golfadj Posted April 9, 2010 #30 Share Posted April 9, 2010 And if you do would bring a foreman grill as the galley generally will frown on cooking the catch. Oh and perhaps a good filet knife in case you catch something.
chrislynnet Posted April 9, 2010 #31 Share Posted April 9, 2010 Well, now I'm confused. Our 1st cruise was on ocean view on Carnival. Our 2nd cruise was on RC with a balcony and a sliding glass door. Now we're back on Carnival with a balcony and I assumed it would have a sliding door also. Is it just a regular door? I couldn't figure out why people were wondering how to keep their door open!

Most open and close (HARD!) like a normal door :)
