Which Mayan ruins ??

I will be taking the Carnival legend to the western Carribean and was wanting to know which Mayan ruins is best and why ?? Mayan ruins of Tulum or Xunantunich Mayan ruins...Thanks in advance for any help with this matter !!!

Do you have anything else you would like to do at those ports? That might help you decide. We went to Xunantunich in Dec. It was fantastic! It's a full day, but a great way to also see more of Belize than what's in Belize City. I've not been to Tulum - mainly because I NEVER have a problem finding something I really want to do in Cozumel.

While Xunantunich is a full day, on a Carnival tour, you won't miss the ship. Tulum requires a ferry ride from Cozumel. Also a long day. You can no longer climb around on Tulum, you can at Xunantunich. Tulum is a beautiful setting, but given the greater number of things to do in Cozumel versus Belize City, I'd say go with Xunantunich.
