kruzerci Posted April 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2010 The only oceanview room we could get on a short Bahamas cruise this summer was 3506, which is 4 from the front of the ship. We usually stay aft or mid ship, is there anything to look out for?
BlueSkySailing Posted April 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2010 Should be fine. I stayed in cabin #9000 on the Monarch her sister ship and had no worries. If you get to stop at CocoCay you may hear the anchor drop. But most people are getting up anyway. Happy Sailing!!!!!
Ashland Posted April 20, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2010 Maybe a bit more motion..but you do what you have to do..it's a cruise..so enjoy...:)

TheWog Posted April 20, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 20, 2010 The only thing I noticed was how loud it was when we dropped anchor at Grand Cayman. Damn. Other than that it was great. Didn't even notice more motion. This was balcony room on the Enchantment.
octagonmike Posted April 20, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 20, 2010 Interesting question as we are pretty much 4 from the front in an Ocean View room on Deck 9 on Explorer in 3 weeks time. This is our first cruise without a balcony but seeing as I am no longer a smoker I wont miss it as that is pretty much all I have ever used it for. Maybe a bit more ocean motion than you're used to, but we're usually so wiped out by the end of the day (or night!) that it's hardly noticeable. So no worries, mon! :D
