I liked flying from Punta Arenas to King George Island and boarding the ship there. Saved the two days back and forth across the Drake which is so unpredicatable for weather. Also the ship just stays in the Antarctic region and doesn't burn fuel going back and forth across the Drake. With only 50 passengers you get to do lots of landings and Zodiac explorations.
