San Fran. Pier 35 - taxis???

Recommended Posts

We'll be docked overnight in S.F. during Sept. and are thinking of getting off the ship in the early a.m. on our full day there to catch a ferry at the Ferry Terminal located at Pier 1. I think it's a bit over a mile away, and we'd probably need a taxi. Does anyone know anything about early morning availability of taxis near the cruise pier? Thanks.......

Take the F-Line Street Car directly across from the pier if you are at Pier 35. $2 pp exact amount needed. If there are any other cruise ships, the cabs do not want a short fare. Actually it is a pleasant walk without luggage.
