Car Rental or Bus in Bodrum?

Does anyone know if its easy to rent a car at the port in Bodrum, Turkey in June? Would like to get to Gumusluk so we can snorkel the reef over there. Our ship has an excursion but its so brief and extra pricey for how brief it is in the location we want to go. A reliable bus route would also suit us fine too - we are in our 30s so walking to any stops is no problem, however an on-time route would be key.

You will get more advice if you go to Tripadvisor. However I do know that a couple who were on the cruise with us rented a car for the day as they had seen the port before. They had a great time. Do a search on Google if no one can name an agency.

 

There are busses, I believe and again I would suggest checking on TA.

Thanks. Good call. It appears that they leave and return every half hour or so and the journey is lovely and takes 50 mins. Not too bad I think!

Bodrum is a lovely town. We found the people in Turkey to be very friendly and would not hesitate to venture out on a bus.
