Saturday, St Thomas 2nd visit. I was a little worried since there were 4 ships in port

Most of the ships were docked at the main WICO (West Indian Co.) pier; others at the CBHP (Crown Bay home port) dock. Where is the Golden docked in regard to the location of the Sheraton Old San Juan?

The Golden docks at the Pan American Pier which is on the opposite side of the Bay from the Sheraton Old San Juan and about a mile East. It's a quick cab ride.

What amenities are offered at the Pan Am pier? Do they have shops or a liquor store? Do they have a bar that you can hang out in prior to boarding? I appreciate your input.

There is nothing at the Pan Am Pier when it comes to shopping. It's right at a small airport so nothing is around. I'm curious about a duty free liquor store within the Princess terminal? We went on the AOS last week which docks right next to the Golden and we did not have a liquor store. So, those of you who have been on the Golden out of the Pan Am Pier, Is there a duty free liquor store available within the Princess terminal?

Clubber: There is a liquor store inside the Princess portion of the Pan Am Pier. We were able to buy beer & other spirits & just put in our carry on & carry on:p

Thanks for the info. We were expecting one this year and it wasn't there. Then we tried to figure out how to get in the Princess terminal, but couldn't without going outside security. I'll spread the news to our cruisemates for next year joining us on the Golden. They'll be very happy.
