cdm Posted January 31, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2005 Good day all.... We will be 4 in a cabin with two upper bunks. I know it will be tight, but we don't plan to spend much time in our room. Can the two lower beds still be made into a queen? :)
serene56 Posted January 31, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2005 Yes they can but with 4 people in the cabin you will be taken up precious space by doing so. Which ship and what category.
cdm Posted January 31, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted January 31, 2005 Were on the Valor Feb. 20th in cabin 2294 (at least that is the cabin number assigned to us when I used the Book/Modity method).
serene56 Posted January 31, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2005 By putting the beds together--the one that sleeps closest to the wall will have to either climb over you in the other bed--or scurry to the foot of the bed to get out. I mean putting the beds together is do-able.
cali-croozer Posted January 31, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2005 Our steward put the beds together but said he couldn't put the pad on them to make them a true queen because he wouldn't be able to make the bed up in the morning that way (like Serene said, no room to walk around the bed). So, it is basically two beds, made up separately, but side by side. Just tell your kid not to jump down from the bunk on top of you. LOL:)

Take the bottom 2 and rotate them 90 degrees.During the day, push the bunk at the end of the bed up and you get more room.Ask for the pad and tell the steward not to make the bed.It stinks without the pad.
