Question re: specific cabin booking

I think I know the answer to this, but just want to check to be sure:

 

I booked a specific aft wrap cabin for June 2011 - how would I know if there's a price drop (if any??).

 

I'm guessing that since I booked a specific cabin, any potential price reductions won't apply - but just thought I'd check anyway.

If any come up it would be based on the category of your cabin!;)

You need to check periodically (either at the Carnival website, or by calling your TA or PVP)

 

IF you didn't book under the Early Saver rate, you can still take advantage of price reductions until the final payment date. After, that, you're locked in.

 

If you did book under Early Saver, you can take advantage of price reductions until 2 days prior to sailing

 

I'm still 3 months outside of our cruise and we just got $200 back because of a price reduction, so it does pay to check!
