Has anyone stayed @ Santiago Park Plaza?

 

Yes, we stayed at the Park Plaza two years ago and I can recommend it highly. It is in a nice and quiet area and very close to the underground and the Cerro Cristobal and it offers excellent service, a good breakfast and the rooms are very comfortable. It is a European style hotel with old-world charm. I still receive email offers from them and we will certainly stay there again next time we plan a trip to Chile which will hopefully be next year. We will then hire a car and tour the country, as we absolutely loved Chile on our two cruises in 2008 and 2009.

We are going on a Celebrity cruise around South America and have a few days in Santiago. Has anyone stayed at either Vilafranca or Hotel Orly and if so can you recommend them. Thanks. Christine

I stayed in the Orly it was ok for one night. We also stayed in Valparaiso and if I had my choice I would stay in Valparaiso over Santiago.

i stayed at the orly last january and will stay again this january before going on the crystal to buenos aires. it is a small european hotel, not fancy, but convenient to the metro and good restaurants.

We stayed at the Orly Hotel for 2 nights last Jan. It is a boutique hotel with excellent personal service. Close to restaurants. I would recommend it.
