daylight sailing?

Hi -

 

I'm looking to take a cruise on the Royal Clipper this winter. Unfortunately, I cannot take enough time off from work to do a transatlantic :-(

 

 

Any way, I'm looking to maximize the amount of daylight hours spent underway. (i.e.; sailing if the winds allow.)

 

Which itinerary fits this request? Windward Islands, or Grenadine Islands (Jan 8/15, 2011)

If you call or email Star Clippers, they'll send you the arrival and departure times for each port on each itinerary, and you can see whether there's any difference.

We did the "Windward" itinerary in March 2009. A description of the arrival/deperture times, with locations, can be found in this thread - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1061746

 

For the most part, the ship was under way for sunrise and sunset.
