What is the avg. time off the Star in LA?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone give me the "average" time you were off the Star in LA if you self disembark? I'm trying to decide if I want to splurge on a private car to pick us up at the port and get us to LAX on a Saturday morning--flight time NOON.

I forgot to add on the above. When arriving on the Spirit in New Orleans in April, some port had had a security threat that day. Although it wasn't New Orleans and although the Spirit arrived at 8 am, the last passengers were not off the ship until about noon...and not through customs until almost 1 pm. Each passenger had to individually present a passport, have it scanned into the computer, and wait for results. NCL was paniced trying to empty the ship and get ready for the next departure, passengers were paniced...and angry. We had a 9 am time scheduled to leave the ship, didn't get off until 11, cleared customs at noon. That could easily happen at the other ports also. I would keep the unexpected in mind.
